How to identify high-quality carbon fiber plate

The price of Carbon Fiber Sheets on the market is uneven. Some suppliers sell high-priced, low-quality carbon fiber products. On the contrary, some sellers sell low-priced and low-quality products. Therefore, if customers blindly compare prices and not quality, there is no reference. It should be noted that some suppliers will also call other carbon panels full carbon panels. For example, some suppliers will deceive customers that the glass fiber panels they sell are full carbon fiber panels (because they have the same surface but different weights). So how to identify high-quality carbon fiber board is very meaningful.

1) Flatness
The high-quality Carbon Fiber Sheet should be completely flat. When placing the carbon fiber sheet on a flat surface and making it flush with the eyes, there should not be any waves or warping in the sheet. There should also be no bends or creases on the surface.
2) Look at the weight
If the price is generally 1-2 times lower than the market price, you can compare the weight. If the weight is heavy, it must not be a Full Carbon Fiber Board
3) Look at the surface
No bumps or dents on the surface
4) Board tolerance
The common thickness tolerance in the market is +/-0.2mm. Some factories can even achieve +/-0.1mm. If customers have requirements for thickness tolerances, the tolerances need to be clarified first
5) Fiber straightness
Defects in fiber orientation on the surface sheet can affect the cosmetic appearance and mechanical properties and may indicate problems with the orientation of the layers in the buried layer and the underlying sheet. The fibers should be oriented at the correct angle and straight.
